Mike Festa's Bluescruisers + Gumbo Room Blues Jams

The Gumbo Room Blues Jam is the home of the Blues on a Thursday night!

Mike Festa's (ex-New York and the Shakin' Stevens band) brand of blues is not far removed from Australia's home-brand stuff: earthy, heartful and with more power and passion than polish. Festa's guitar work is snappy and equally at home with America's rambling west coast vibe or with the kick-buttock Chicago sound.

The Gumbo Room Blues Jams Return

Every week we'll have a feature band playing, plus open blues jams between their 2 sets.

Time format will be as follows -

Band Set 1: 8.30-9.15

Open Blues Jams: 9.20-10.20

Band Set 2: 10.30-11pm

Theo Pana is your MC and jam organiser, just give him a nudge on the night to get yourself up on stage. So, come on down, have a hit, meet other jammers, hang out and grab a beverage. HOPE TO SEE YA THERE!
