ABC 891 host Peter Goers has kindly accepted an invitation to become the Patron of The Gov’s disability-friendly, live event Club Cool.
For those who don’t know, Club Cool is a monthly event for people with disabilities and their friends. It runs at The Gov on the third Sunday of each month between Feb – Nov from 10.30am. Each event sees an attendance of over 200 music lovers, the vast majority of whom have severe disabilities.
Club Cool is run on a voluntary basis with the bands (proudly arranged by SA Live Music) and the sound engineer donating their time and the venue supplied free of charge.
Entry is by way of a Gold Coin donation, which helps to offer door prizes via a raffle each month.
