There’s just something about a country girl, and their uncanny ability to always make you feel welcome, which is one (of the many reasons) why we just love our Teagan. Why do you love The Gov? The atmosphere, the locals, the music, the staff, the food… Man, I love it all!
Favourite Gov memory: I actually got married in the venue at The Gov a couple of years ago, that was a pretty amazing day.
Recommended pub grub: The steak sandwich, for sure!
If you were an alcoholic beverage, what would you be? I think I would be a glass of rosé purely because I drink so much of it
What show are you most excited about and why? The Jezabels will be lots of fun, I’m also really looking forward to Ball Park Music - I know they are great live. The biggest singalong I’ve seen at the Gov was when they covered Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody.
Tell us a secret: Our front bar local, Michelle Moore is the queen of baked goods - Nigella Lawson eat your heart out.
