Why do you love The Gov? Obviously the live music, more importantly the beer garden faces the stage so you can smoke and watch the bands at the same time, also the staff are pretty rad.
Favourite Gov memory: I don’t remember much of it but there was a three hour Ween concert I was at long before I started working here.
Recommended pub grub: I hear the gumbo is pretty good.
If you were an alcoholic beverage, what would you be: I would like to think I am a glass of Evan Williams Bourbon over ice but it is more likely I am cheap domestic beer.
What show are you most excited about and why? There are a lot of great shows coming up, Fenzal Rhomb, Reverend Horton Heat, Regurgitator, The Beards, and Kim Wilde, but I am most excited about the L7 show, in 20 years of seeing live music I have never had the chance to see them live.
Tell us a secret: If the glass is half empty I usually chug it and get another drink.
