We’re not sure where this year has gone, but it’s passed us by in a blur of fun, noise and memories that will last a lifetime. This last week at The Gov has stuck the the plan, with a bunch of great new shows that are guaranteed to keep the good times rolling.
Don’t miss the chance to see The Jezabels as they return to The Gov to deal with the unfinished business of a show we’ve been hanging out to see. Tickets went on sale today and won’t hang around.

Latino Grooves proudly presents Viva Colombia, the annual Colombian Independence Day Fiesta Saturday 23 July! Now in its 11th year, Viva Colombia is the mother of all parties!
Prepare yourself for a MEGA Latino fiesta - Colombian-style - with Adelaide’s premier Latin band Soul Macumbia, Colombian Salsa Champion Juan Carlos Ospina & Laura Franco, Latino Grooves dancers and Colombian DJs Hugo Salcedo & Cali.
Led by ex-pat Colombian musician Hugo Salcedo, Soul Macumbia band will pay homage to the many vibrant rhythms of Colombia including Cumbia, Salsa, Champeta, Vallenato, tambores and gaitas from the greatest musical Colombian icons such as Carlos Vives, Joe Arroyo, Juanes, Toto La Momposina, Shakira and more! The result? An irresistible and sizzling hot Latin cocktail that will get any party started.
Spectacular dance performances by World Salsa Champion from Cali, Colombia Juan Carlos Ospina and Laura Franco plus Latino Grooves dancers!
Adelaide’s best Latino DJs Hugo Salcedo & Cali will close the night with an opulent mix of the best Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Merengue, Cha Cha Cha and more.

After a Fourteen year absence Drowning Pool have now set their sights on Australian soil for their first ever headline tour plus a special one off New Zealand show. Big sonic slabs of muscular power with a taste of the dark melodies of post-grunge remain Drowning Pool’s stock and trade. Their music is an unapologetic celebration of life’s joy and pain, able to swiftly maneuver between defiant declarations of resistance. Each distinctive era of the band’s history is represented onstage, where the band bashes through an arsenal of anthems all delivered with precision strength.
